The Historic Taylor Ranch| A.T. Taylor and his son, Volney, originally purchased The Taylor Ranch from the John Marsh family in 1868. This section of land was devoted mostly to wheat and many varieties of fruit trees and still is a working ranch. The present day ranch is now a walnut orchard farmed by A.T. Taylor's great -great grandson. The present two-story home was built in 1906 and the west wing was added in 1951. The home and grounds are reminiscent of a southern anti-bellum style. |
